Can anyone report on the stability of VMware ESXI on threadripper 3000 series? I imagine it’s not build for use on workstations, only servers?
Esxi user here. it’s fine. Perfectly reasonable…if you have issues just slow down mem clock. Ecc works well. 2933-3200 with 4 sticks is the sweet spot.

Im using 3600 regular memory. No Ecc. 128gb. Think i’ll have problems?
4 or 8 sticks? if 4 prolly ok
