For the record kill -9 did work
@BrianComey I will try that, because I’m on vega and I’m using the relatively immature rocm drivers
I had this issue too on ubuntu 20 but because I was really fedup of having to kill the process I’ve search and found a solution on another site : You have to go to preferences → video → output → and there choose “OpenGL” → save preference change
After that, Idon’t have anymore issue
Before that they ask to go in the user preference folder and delete the folder, which I did, but I don’t know if it’s really necessary, may be only make the change in the output preference would be enough.
