Would the VK-T40E support (squid, Snort, HAVP, IP-Blocklist ) I am golden the cherry would be if I can add a wifi card

Looks like a nice little box, might get one for my network. It would have been better if it had the the usual green, blue, orange ethernet outs to Lan. I'd stick with cable for speed and security, but you hang a wifi router off that Lan out.
Alternatively checkout the pfSense Tek Snydicate video and build your own box. That includes wifi.
