Hi guys, I want to buy this from US and I live in the UK.

Has anybody tried to get this TV from US? If so, would you suggest it?

import tax and duty will hurt your bottom a lot.

As it contains a tuner you will be liable up to ~34% in VAT and import duty so be wary of that.

thanks guys, I am not going to go for that then :( which is shame... However I found another brand in UK called Hisense. They seem to be producing similar 4k tvs as well.

I would aviod VIZIO, LG & Samsung until they stop sharing data of what you watch.

Visio M series are great TVs because they have local backlight dimming from a full array of LEDs instead of edge lit...which means more contrast...which means better picture
