I have a Ubuntu Host/Guest set up. I shared a folder (ext4 drive) to the guest box. Every time I try to access the top folder or execute a file, it prompt for my guest password. How do i remove this requirement?
Troubleshots Taken
- Set share to Auto-mount, Make Permanent, mounted in /mnt/ (as ya do)
- added guest user to vboxsf group
- In the host, chmod’d the Share Folder to 777
- installed virtualbox-guest-utils, and obviously Guest Additions
- added Host user to Vbov Group
