Videos playing randomly after first watching them

The steps I take is, play a video on any thread, finish watching it or pause it, scroll further down or up in the thread, video plays randomly without me interacting with the player itself.

Is there some sort of “auto-replay” or auto function that’s at fault here?

this. i was just about to make a thread. its a minor bug but forces me to leave the thread then return.

repro:

  1. play a video in a thread
  2. pause video or finish video
  3. scroll down until thread loads next set of posts
  4. video will start playing again without user action
