So, care to dive into this hardware and see what’s possible? And if possible, what can be done if you can SSH into the machine? I would find that super interesting.

I’ve seen the slides for a conference talk die because too many people SSH’d into the HDMI capture device to troubleshoot a display issue. Multiplayer troubleshooting never goes well.
Alternatively if you like rube goldberg machines, you could wire a bit red button to a pi, send an instruction over ssh, and switch inputs.
I’d rather have that be a prompt to a speedrun timer saying “That’s never happened before” or a button plugging Prime Gaming in the speedrun timer.
