Video Editing and Gaming Build for $1500

I saw Logan's $1500 editing PC and have decided to go build one of my own. This is what I have put together:

Intel Core i7 3770k

NZXT Havik 140

Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 (I can handle slow render times at a tradeoff for more FPS vs. the 670, and honestly, I dont think the editing program that I will use takes advantage of CUDA *and no, it isnt Adobe*)

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H Mobo

Patriot Viper 3 16gb 2133mhz

Seagate Barracuda 1.5tb

OCZ Vertex 4 128gb

Corsair Professional Gold 750w

Lite-On iHAS124-04 writer

Windows 8

All going into a Fractal Arc Midi R2, I like the looks and the idea of it.

Will this build be able to crossfire in the future? Any other recommendations?

Thanks!

Lolz, last part of URL is Kilt, and its St Pattys day.

looks good to me but are you considering overclocking ??

Maybe later on, I wanted to be safe, would I need an 850w psu?

I wouldnt mind paying extra. Sorry for bump XD

850w would be enuf for xfire and overclock?

There were a couple of issues, you had selected a cheap motherboard that did not support your RAM, and your CPU cooler was not the best for the money.

Is the Xigmatek better than the Havik?

Yes.

The xigmatek isn't better. But it's cheaper and still nice.

my question is why are you going for windows 8 man have you even used it yet??

i have on my laptop, and personally I like it. Just my opinion though.

NEW CHANGES:

Changed the PSU to a Hale 90 850w

Changed mem to Geil EVO Veloce 16gb 1866

Changed mobo to MSI GD65 Z77

And changed the cooler to Xigmatek
