Video Card Suppliers, (evga, diamond, xfx, his...)

In your guys' opinion, who supplies the best video cards?

From nvidia: everyone knows the two big ones are evga and xfx, i like both of them.

From ati: I've never had an ati card, thats why im asking this question. But ive heard that sapphire and his and diamond are all really good, what do you guys think?

dont forget BFG for nvidia. they make great, solid products. and as far as ATI, i've always gone with diamond.

bfg doesnt offer much warranty wise, the only products by them that ever stood out were the cards that came with a bfg waterblock preinstalled

My previous card was a BFG...my current card is an EVGA. Personally, I will probably continue buying EVGA unless another one does something to catch my attention. Reason being, EVGA offers a step up program that, within a certain number of days that bought your card, you can step up and exchange it for any other card for the difference in price. Say, maybe you want to step up to something more powerful or a new card comes out...you can request it, send your card in, and get a new card back.

spot on mr. taco, thats the reason i like evga too! plus, they have lifetime warrantees, and make a solid product!

XFX had a double lifetime warranty so if you sell the card, that person has a lifetime warranty as well.

well, thats cool too. if only one company would buy each other, keep their prices low, and then mix the warranty and new card deals together!

VisionTek anybody? My personal favourite.

imo, for nVidia XFX, for AMD/ATI, i'd say either Diamond or HIS

Lets not forget about ECS, Biostar, Asus, Gigabyte, and Abit who also make nvidia products. Personally I am an EVGA fan because they have the better made products as well as the most of the market share for nVidia. Not to mention EVGA is the main reference partner for nVidia. You can look at the different products and tell the difference. I own an XFX graphics card but recently went with EVGA and just looking at the transistors and capacitors and such you can see that EVGA uses better parts, Which allows for more stable overclocking experience.

diamond

EVGA rules helps me alot forums are very active. o yea

also there open 24/7 for support.

and they let you overclock

xfx covers OCing too, but does eVGA have arabian tech support?

o.0

xfx has no step up ;X

nVIDIA: XFX and eVGA.

ATi: Diamond, Visiontek.

can you honesytly say that in 90 days you're gunna want a new card?

Actually...I got my current card and soon after, the 9800 GX2 stuff started leaking out...and I really considered getting one. Problem ended up being was that It got pushed back or something and it pushed it out of my 90 days, so I ended up not being able to get it. I think some of the newer cards actually got a 120 day step up as well, can't remember which they were and if they're still doing it or not though.

Its just a feature that pretty much none of the other nvidia suppliers have, and its just an option incase you were ever to want to use it. Double lifetime warranty from XFX doesnt really interest me, and thats really the only thing they have that EVGA doesnt as far as I know...so, EVGA it is.

Look the gigabyte and diamound cards are teh best, his is an OK brand that won't fail and sapphire lacks in the warrenty department XD but they are a good brand, they did introduce the single slot 3870, which for people with an asus 790fx instead of a MSI 790fx could actually feel the power of Crossfirex with four 3870's instead of being limited

why is gigabyte the best? all they do is put an aftermarket cooler on their stuff, and i dont even think they give lifetime warrantes. although, they do make GREAT mobos

lol well see Gigabyte already created a 1GB 4850 >_> but ati is holding them back from releasing it. Gigabyte is almost as forward thinking as ATI itself XD naw j/k but they did create a 1GB 4850. i mean come on, they had the 1GB version at launch but amd/ati won't let them launch. I prefer them for everything. Mobo's and Cards
