Video Card good enough for Club Penguin?

I just want to enjoy some of my favorite games at a decent quality and I can't, I don't understand it. Why are games like club penguin, and neopets so demanding on our video cards? Can anyone recommend a gpu I can buy at a decent price that will run this game well. I'm using a i5 system could it be that my i5 only has five cores, should I upgrade to a i7 that has 7 cores because it's probably better for gaming? Not really sure anyways please let me know of some parts you guys will recommend so I can actually enjoy my games.

You should probably upgrade to an i7 since it has 7 cores and is better due to that. Maybe even get one of the new i10s when they come out, because they 10 cores and 10 ghz and thats obviously is better for games such as club penguin. As for GPU i would definitively say to get one of gtx 680s since they have like 680 cores of goodness.

Ok awesome advice, I'll probably to cancel my club penguin subscription so I can for the 680 and the i10 but hopefully I can get it soon! I mean that's 690 total cores, that should let me play it in better quality

You might also need to overclock your case to achieve better performance. Along with duct tapeing some ram onto the back of your motherboard to help improve stability.

quad SLI 680s should be able to get you up to around a playable 30 fps

Mother of god you guys are right, maybe I can quad sli 680's with ram cores duct tape to them for increased frame rate?

Just remember that you have to remove the fans from the cards first because the ram cores have to be on the board.

no you need to crossfire Nvidia Tesla's for that

I dont think Quad SLI will make it all up there.. I mean he atleast need an Octo SLI with some GTX 690's on those new Motherboards...

What the hell are you laughing pistol, you mad you wont be able to play some club penguin with us

My pentium 4 sporting win2K is too 1337 for club penguin

My i9 gets me close enough to 30 fps.  You need to upgrade to a phase change PSU to run an i10. Save your money and buy more ram to crossfire. I swear the bad advice on this forum is getting out of hand.

Hmmm... I think you may even need to upgrade to an overclocked quantum computer with liquid nitrogen cooling for Club Penguin...

OP, there's a section called "GPU". Consider that next time. Moved it also.

This guy is clearly a brony

Whoa whoa whoa I've been called a lot of things in the past but a brony, crossed the line, but will more cores help me post properly in the forums Destroyed007? You always seem mad or sad man, cheer up.

guys... guys.... easy fix.... you know about case lighting right?

you put blue lights in to get lower temps for better OC.

red for faster speeds

green for more eco friendly.

give yourself a rainbow bunchie case and the i10 quad sli crossfired heatsink ram will go so fast your club penguin will get 19.2 more fps then a non lit case. benchmarked myself on my asrock dark shooter haf 987 coolerman with a 955 super black edition and a tripple overclock xfire with gigabyte motherboard gpus.

you are all forgetting 220volt is 2x faster than 110volt just plug it into your drier outlet and zoom. the monitor as well as the pc.

Ztrain I can always count on you man, now I'm getting the fps I wanted, thanks a ton buddy XoXoXOXOXOXO

edit: ps, facepalm @ comissar... wtf
