VESA on debezeled monitor?

Hey guys!

So I am running a triple NV Surround setup, and my monitors have huge bezels. What I would like to do is remove the bezels, but I have them mount on a stand and I need to retain the VESA to do so. The question I am asking is in most cases (I understand most monitors will be different) do you retain a VESA, you do you need a new way of mounting it?

Thanks!

I have never done this but I have seen the mount. Looking at them I would assume you use screws that go into a plate inside the monitor. So even if you take the bezel off and back there still should be mounting hardware underneath. Might need a washer in between to take up the space of the missing plastic, bit it is worth looking into.

See if someone else has debezeled the monitor and see if it is easy and reverseable in case there is nothing to mount to, though unlikely I think.

Yeah righto, thanks mate.

I came across this awhile ago and I might be doing it soon QNIX QX2710 Debezel Guide. The VESA mount was on a box inside the monitor, separate from the panel, so this person solved that by drilling the box into some hardboard, epoxying the board to the panel, and slapping some mounting tape on there.

I agree with Zibob; look for someone who has done this, but if you can't find anyone, then you'll just have to build up the courage to do it yourself, or disassemble it, take pictures, and make a post asking for advice.

yeah ok, thanks
