Very Strange GPU/ Monitor Problem

I have had this really weird problem that keeps happening.

GTX 980, Benq GW2765HT x2 (DP) and Benq 1080p (HDMI)

One day I come home from work and power on my PC, I noticed that my left monitor doesn't turn on. It's all black and says "No Input". I try some basic troubleshooting, eventually I end up using a DVI cable instead of DP, and it starts working. I leave it like this for a few days and then the center monitor is black with "No Input". So I use the DVI cable from the left monitor and it works. I use the DP cable from the left monitor that died and it works again. Then a few weeks later the left monitor dies again, I move the DVI from center to the left and it works and the center monitor starts working on DP again.

Is my GPU dying or something? Or could it be the monitor? My right monitor is a 1080p Benq that's model number I forgot but I've never had issues with it.

The machine god is displeased with me.

have you tried plugging the cable out and back in?

-_-

...yes

Ohh... I have two benq as well.. and one just seems to not like my GTX770 and DP.. but HDMI is ok, vice versa the other one did not like the DVI to HDMI converter... and so on...

I slowely get the feeling that it is benq having problems with the input processing... maye.. i fear.

Well, that's horrifying, I really I like BenQ monitors.

I am also not feeling easy; I dont have a spare GPU to crosstest though; I have two of them worth 1000€ together.. so that does not sound great to me either.
