Verizon is too expensive these days. I have two iphone 4s it's costing me 172.00 a month. It feels like I am cattle in a line every month. I am seeking help from the community of alternative phone plans or any way to make my current plan cheaper.
I long ago left Verizon for prepaid and haven't looked back. AT&T has a $25 monthly prepaid plan for 250 talk minutes and unlimited text, no data.
If you want data, T-mobile has a $30 monthly prepaid plan for 100 talk minutes, unlimited data, and unlimited text. This is the one I'm on right now. If you choose this one, I don't recommend doing the number transfer thing to keep your same number because they are half braindead and takes them way too long to do it (1-2 weeks). Just order in a SIM card from their site, then at check out, enter the coupon code "99SIM" and it'll end up only costing you a dollar (or free depending on where you live).
Wow I thought the prices in New Zealand were bad I pay $20 NZD (around $15 USD) and I get 60 minutes of call time, unlimited text and 500mb of data(3g don't yet have the 4G network where I live)
I have 1 phone on the cheapest plan you cn get with our major telecom and it's 63 per month
My internet costs me 180 per month for 500GB and I only get 800kbps MAX download and 356kbps upload and data is charged for uploads AND downloads. The lowest ping on any game server I can get is 280ms
Our Super expensice NBN is still going to be outdated crap after its finished (100M fibre) and even then only the most expensice plans (upwards of 180p/m for 200GB) will be limited to a 75MBit connection - Shit at least google fibre in USA is free at the speeds we can get.........
This plan is great, I've been using it for a couple of years now. Nabbed a Galaxy 4G and flashed Android 4.1 to it, it runs great. Only problem is that the coverage is pretty spotty. Still though, I've used other providers and had similar and worse coverage. The network speeds are fine so it's tough to complain.
