I just got another Actiontec Verizon m1424 Rev F router. I currently have one already, need a second one because my house is so big and I don't want cords everywhere... and hate wireless speeds and unreliability.
Anyways, I hate the firmware and would love to have something more usable and friendly. I'm not exactly a networking guru, I'm a typical moderately ok user with computers and the likes, but anything networking and me is a nogo.
I know Logan talked a lot about setting up your own networking consoles and such, and made a thing of it in the last inbox.exe video which leads me to this: What can I use given that it's a verizon router with proprietary firmware and a service that doesn't even allow me to change wall connections without having to call Verizon so I can use the device?
