Valve is releasing a new Counter Strike Title

I don't even feel like writing an article I'm so happy... So I'll just leave you with my immediate reaction.

Yeah... A couple of my friends are there play testing it. (PhP, 3k2)

It seems like it's gonna be geared more for console... I'm not ENTIRELY happy about it, but they did fly in some of the top euro players as well as torbull from ESEA and some other people to play and balance test it, and to get their opinions to tweak it for the competetive community. Hopefully this will help it.

I have counter strike source, but never got into it. It's extremely noob unfriendly

It's extremely lacking of realistic physics, lol. I can empty an entire clip on someone about 10 feet away and maybe 2 bullets will actually hit them.

They won't ruin the competitive perspective. They have competitive teams testing it and giving them feedback. The only feedback they're getting is from competitive players

They are making it console-y, I'll still buy it because there is money in it from tournaments. But the list of updates coming to CSS from the pros comments is going to be amazing.

If It fails miserably; People will just continue to play CSS, and valve will be forced to rethink their development strategies.

Man that's so sad..... I love their older games. I hope some of the more devoted fans of CS like Twitch speak out against it to them if it sucks.

they may have yet to make a bad game, but their games are definately getting progressively worse

its using source engine. why does everyone hate on source btw? It might not be the prettiest or most realistic, but it just works really well....
