My Usual download speed for torrents is about 780 kb/s but when i leave my computer idle for over 10 mins the download speeds drop to abut 100 kb/s only to go back as soon as i wake the computer. Is there any fix for this?
you should use open sourced deluge.
WIFI or LAN? check your power options in your control panel for power saving network options and disable them also setup your ports on your router. Is this consistent with all download sources? Download one of your steam games or a large file of the internet like Unbuntu 64bit and see if it does it on that as well. This may single out your tor app configuration check to see if you have throttling options enabled or poor port congiurations.
