So, many of you probably saw my username and cringed. I thought this up a few years ago in middle school when I still had the euphoria of building my first PC, and I want to change it. BADLY!
I have been trying to think of usernames that I can use that are related to code/linux in some way. I havent had much success. Any suggestions?
Don't change your name, whatever one you chose is yours because you chose it... just think, in years you could look back and think "what was I thinking"> And, "I am still that same person! Life is fantastic!".
Names are just words for the outside of you, names are just a part of communication. Thought is eternally yours. Embrace your own thoughts with every ounce of strength in your being! Because thoughts are yours! Absolutely!
Don't listen to me, listen to yourself. Think for yourself! Always! There is no-one smarter than you! No matter how it seems, there is no-one smarter than you! We all just think different, and that is all. So don't learn to question yourself always, simplylearn to be yourself! That is power!
There is no greater power than the power of words. The word that you name yourself; give that word power! Make others take it's heed!
...or just be yourself.
Linuxia, Tuxillinux, Linuxorphia or Linuxorphius.
the only time i would say its fine for nickname change
is if its inappropriate or for
the fact my original nickname from 16+ years ago.
im unable to register it do to how common it is for it to be used.
never change a nickname just to hide your past.
that'ts just silly, and when you get caught it generally its looked down upon.
if you are to change it. i would say this.
is it readable, is it just far enough from common names that
you will not have issues registering with a service thats been open for
a while, for this would suck to be
"tobymacdaddy- on _____ and tobymacdaddy221 on something else."
thats just painful to keep track of.
