I currently owned a Combo DP1.4/USB-C KVM, but am upgrading to a larger 42” 16:9 4k panel. It only uses HDMI 2.1 however, so what products would you recommend for a relatively seamless experience sharing my peripherals between my MacBook Pro M3 Max and my 4090 desktop? Would I use the same KVM but just use it for switching peripherals between devices, and then connect each device with HDMI to the panel? Should I get a KM switch or an HDMI 2.1 KVM?
