If i cold boot into windows my pc is fine, if i boot into linux then reboot into windows then my mouse keyboard are dead until i cold boot, ie switch pc off at the socket and wait 2-3 mins. any ideas.
Maybe the USB controller is not being reset correctly by Linux and it still has some garbage in it that Windows doesen't know that to do with.
I don't know if it's possible to send to Windows a command to reset the USB controller manually but if it's possible and poses no risk I would try that.
