USB Hubs For Gaming?

Tried googling this but couldn't find an answer. Would using a USB Hub slow down the response rate/polling rate for any gaming devices connected to it?


I'm pretty much using up all my USB ports at the moment, but would prefer having some open. If my mouse and keyboard both have a 1ms response time, will they keep that response time if they are both plugged into the same USB hub?

It shouldn't slow it down noticeably.

your root hub has a speed of 480 mb/s. each device added will slow this down. (example, if you have two flashdrives, each ones bandwidth will be 240 mb/s). for gaming, you wont notice a difference.
