If you ever used the Mod Mic, you are probably aware that on-board mic input creates a lot of noise when you use the mod mic(and probably most microphones of that type). And that noise is quite unpleasant when you are talking through VoIP or playing games like CSGO where un-necessary noise is a huge problem. So after a few minutes of searching, I found out that people use cheap USB dongles that remove that static and popping noise, so I am asking what sort of solutions do you guys use to eliminate that problem. Starting from cheap USB dongles to the likes of hefty on the pocket dac amp mixers shmixers and such, what do you recommend? Also are there some things that should be avoided due to quality and/or harmful behavior?

Yes, we absolutely reccomend USBs with the ModMic. The tradeoff between sensitive mics like ours, which is why it sounds so good, is that it is ALSO sensitive to EMI. This is why we push the USB dongle so hard. We even now have a little pop-up on our site to urge people to add it. It's not just so we can make a few extra dollars (that doesn't hurt either of course, haha).
That said, getting the Antlion one isn't going to outperform the above Sabrent, but if you want to hear the difference between ours and theirs this guy did an AWESOME job back for the ModMic 4.
