USB Desktop Microphone

I recently bought a BM-800 and it was absolute crap.  I have since returned it and am now looking for a good desktop mic for around $50.  The blue snowball seems to keep coming up, however do you guys have any other recommendations, the mic doesn't have to be usb as long as it can plug directly into my computer without phantom power or an audio interface.

you can't get anything for 50$ that is good quality. Save up some money and get something like a blue snowball or an audio technica at2020USB. those are awesome, but you've gotta save up

I purchased this for recording better audio with my dslr and it also works as a USB mic.

...The Blue Snowball is $50...

And yeah, I would recommend the Snowball. I have it and it's about the best you can get under $100.

sorry. I'm not familiar with the US currencies

I use the Blue Snowflake. it's like a snow ball but smaller and $40

Just bought one of these. I think it is pretty damn good for the money.

I made a quick little video overview about it if you wanna see and get a sound sample.

I've been using the blue snowball for about a year now and its been good and tough, plus all my friends also use them as well and they have a great quality.
