I've gotten a Blue Yeti Microphone recently and I've been recording some stuff on it but it doesn't sound as good as I like it to be. Does anyone know how to properly set it up for recording? Help and tips would be greatly appreciated.
Is it picking up too much backround noise?
Within the windows settings (presumming your using windows) check that the record volume is at max and no gain is being applied.
For recording, I recommend using audacity. If you follow tutorials on how to remove backround noise you will find it improves massivley.
