Does anyone know if there is possible to re use old laptop screens as a second monitor to ur laptop via usb c? I would think this could be quite handy. I know it is possible to use hdmi and a power adapter. But to only use usb c would more practical. So what i am realy asking is that do u know of anyone how can suplie that type of circuitry...
If the laptop panel uses eDP, you could use an eDP to DP adapter, and a USB C to DP adapter.
To do this, I think the USB C port would have to be thunderbolt enabled.
But wouldn't u need external power that way?

You could wire up the panel's power cable to a USB A connector. It should use 5V.
alternatively you could just run a network monitor on the laptop...
