Hy man,
if you're dead seriuos about playing AND video editing get the X99 5820k, it's the best all ronuder. Forget the XEON, it's a professional part that's way too exprensive for no real world benefit to games and your kind of interest (Error correcting memory modules and such features are really not necessary). The AMD is waaaay cheaper and way less powerful, but you want a dual cpu system with those? I can't see why, it seem just overcomplicated and... well... unnecessary?
The x99 part will be just great for rendering, work, gaming, evoking spirits form the past, all you'll ever need.
Plus, any X99 mobo will be fine, they're all entusiast parts.
For sake of argument, why don't you get a 4790k? Cheaper, less exotic and way more powerful than anything you'll ever throw at it. I see you're on a H61 mobo, you'll feel the jump to Z97. It's way more than adequate at video rendering, unless you do real professional work. In which case I wouldn't play games on it and buil a totally dedicated machine.
So, to conclude. If you got the cash, get the X99 5820k, but bear in mind that a 4790K would give you fantastic performance for anything you'll ever need at a fraction of the price. If you're seriuos about it, forget AMD for this stuff.
Have fun!
Thankyou so much !
I finally found someone who can give me a honest answer but knows alot about computer!
i have been looking at benchmarks of the 5820k and it looks amazing and would be good with my GTX 770
the mobo is a bit pricey but i guess its worth it
anyway thanks again !
