Upgrading my PC (advice please)

About a 1 - 2 years ago i build my first pc (woo) I use if for the Adobe Suite and also more recently i've moved to pc gaming.

I've always been fine running games on ultra but recently with games like Farcry 3 & Crysis 3 I've had to run them just on High because otherwise I see slight stutters in the frame rate.

I have an...

• Asus Sabertooth P67 Rev B Motherboard

• Intel Core i5 2500k unlocked (overclocked to 4.3Ghz)

• GTX 560Ti

• 8GB DDR3 1600MHz RAM (2x4GB)

what would you guys recommend I look at upgrading to make everything run smoother (so as to get the most improvement for my money) i havent got a particular budget but im not looking to build a super computer... not yet :)

Also I have my CPU watercooled by the Corsair H80 and just out of curiosity i was wondering if there was a 3rd party way of cooling a GPU?

Thanks in Advance!

Get a Decent GPU like the 7950 or 7970, and just buy one with a good aftermarkey cooler like the Gigabyte Windforce or His IceQ ect... and you should be fine.

^

Yeah, grab a better GPU, sandy bridge cpu's are still great, so no need to worry about that for a while

There's actually some people who managed to mount liquid cpu coolers on GPU's with modded brackets and it works, try to look into that

Go for a 7950/7970 like was suggested, just get a dual fan radiator one so you can overclock it, watercooled GPU's are kinda a joke but if you really want here's a like to a 7970 liquid loop. Imo not really worth it.

Thanks!, Which would you suggest in terms of what you get for your money? and would it be worth overclocking it or is that not really neccesary?

Thanks, and honestly i was just curious as i'd never seen one before really :)

Thanks!

The Windofrce is one of the least expensive 7950 yet overclocks and cools as good or better than the rest, and its also pretty quiet, so thats what id buy (i did buy one btw)

Second 560ti is always an option, not sure how well FC3 is optimized for crossfired cards though...think they patched but really I dunno, google search could solve that.

Could sell the 560 and get a new AMD card too, I mean both work lol.
