Upgrading my new school laptop?

so i have a new laptop for school i was going to get a better one but i got this for 388 bucks so i thought why not ?

this is it http://www.harveynorman.co.nz/computers/laptops/asus-f452ea-vx021h.html

i want to run some games but not the lastest and greatest hopefully run any new ish game !

i cant run just cause 2 because it has 2gb and the gpu uses 512mb so i only have like 1.5gb to use

it has one free ram slot which im going to install 4gb 1600mhz ram if i can because it is a apu it will need fast ram i want 1866mhz but im not sure if i can install 1600mhz tho

im not to sure if i can install a new mobile amd cpu or something probley not but im probley wont install a 512gb ssd because i dont really have the money to spend on that

hopefully someone can help me to get some performence for this little thing

dude.. this laptop is a POS and not worth the upgrade. save up for a new one outright or just get a tower. my netbook has better specs than this and it has a craptel atom in it

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834231601 << always go to newegg for shopping needs if all possible. this is way better for your needs as a school laptop and for youtube browsing

thanks man but i already bought this and im in nz so that would be heaps more over here also i cant get newegg. i have a tower it has a fx-8320 going to oc with my hyper 212 i just got and a amd r9 290 ref cooler that i want to get a g10 and h55 for it. i am just hoping to get some or a little gaming out of it during school or away somewhere that i cant get to my tower

but does anyone know if this can fit  1600mhz or faster am ? im thinking this should boost the performence a little for gaming and by web browsing i really do need the ram. i just hoped off my tower which has a ssd and man this thing is slow i kinda do wish that i bought a better one but for school this seems to be decent but not for gaming i was looking on utube and it can play mw3 apanrently im hoping this can play just cause 2 or gta 4 does any one else know if ther is any easy games to run on a crappy laptop ?

Any games before 2006. And maybe some of the newer less graphically intense indie games like Culling of the Cows, Gunpoint, supermeatboy, Rust, 7 days to die, contagion and so on.

Just look up a list (there are hundreds of great games) and take your pick.

I reccomend these shooters: Call of duty, MH allied assault, Return to castle wolfenstein, Quake 1 to 4 (4 might lag a little, same with doom), Duke3D, Serious Sam (the older ones), Half life 1 and 2, Portal, Tf2, deus ex, Mafia, GTA 3/vice city/san andreas (no chance you'll get 4 or 5 playable >30fps).

Other mentions that work well on any old PC: Warcraft 3, Freelancer (with mods), Starcraft (2 will stutter), Homeworld, Spore, Far Cry, Ghost recon 1, Battlefield, Battlefront 1 & 2, Civilization, Age of empires................

The difference between 1600 and 1866 is minimal, you'll have a small increase of fps in newer games on higher settings but don't expect much.

This is a very weak laptop, don't expect to be able to upgrade much if anything or play games very well. Anything beyond old pre 2005 games or flash games will burn this thing to bits. You might be able to play some indie games on low settings. Faster RAM won't help much, maybe 1-2 fps at most.

I recommend you embrace the older PC titles. Take this chance to go play the classics, since this thing is comparable to a gaming PC from 15 years ago.

yeah i wish i did buy a 800-900 dollar laptop for school and some light gaming now but it should be ok for some older titles i do need some ram though 2gb is a bit slow for web browsing and i cant even load just cause 2 so i'll give some older titles a go then thanks for the help. my friend did say that he took he non gaming laptop to a computer shop and they upgraded the gpu and cpu dont think they can do this to mine but ill see becsuse thats the only chance  i have but when i go home i play on my tower anyway
