Upgrading from a G9x but in between a few mice

Hi, everyone. I joined the teksyndicate forums but I have been reading them for a while. I made an account because my G9x is starting to act up on me.

I understand that the sensor this uses, the Avago S9500 isn't exactly anything nice and has had various jitters and glitches.

I'm a competitive TF2 player who also plays around with Quake, so I'd like something really nice for a semi-low sens (10 inch 360 in TF2) right handed person with large hands.

Mice, starting at which one seems the best:

Zowie EC1 Evo: This mouse apparently has very nice tracking, feel, and low lift distance which is good for someone with low sens. Probably going to buy this one.

Logitech G400: I have friends who use this and they like it very much. Plus, a lot of ESEA Invite players use it.

Razer Deathadder: A lot of people have recommended this. I would have bought it, except I don't want to deal with Synapse (Unless the stock DPI is already set between 1200-1800, I'll be fine with not having drivers, but if it's absurdly high or low, this choice is eliminated. Can someone tell me the out of the box DPI?)

Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 Explorer: A lot of people refer to this as one of the best mice ever and the EC1 Evo as just a knockoff, but I'm not sold. Any insight?

Also, if this helps, my G9x is at 1200 DPI.

The SteelSeries Sensei might be a good mouse to look at, it's supposed to be one of the most precise mice around right now, it's very customizable, it comes with different surface options and it has no special software (e.g. Razer Synapse).

Thanks for replying. Sorry though, but Sensei doesn't appeal to me. I don't really like laser sensors, and it looks a bit small for me. Plus, it's fairly expensive.

Stay away from the Intellimouse explorer 3.0 - after 5 years of constant abuse the scroll wheel stopped working.....

Well then personally I'd just go with the DeathAdder 2013, because that's what I have and I absolutley love it. Synaspe is only bad for mice that don't come with it installed. It's a very comfortable coating that has the perfect grip, it is shapped with perfection, and it looks sick. So in my personal opinion (Since the Sensei is not of appeal to you) I would go with the DeathAdder 2013.

Yeah, DA does seem like a great mouse. Just curious, what's the stock DPI?
