I found a 6870 on ebay for around $120 and I've heard it's much faster than the 6770, so I figured since I got a little extra money for my birthday, I would pick it up. My question is, should the drivers for my 6770 work for the 6870? As in, I won't have to uninstall the 6770 drivers and then install the 6870 drivers, correct?
AMD GPU drivers are universal. Plus ,you should always install the latest drivers anyways.
As long it's in the 6000 series cards. No need to changed drivers. As Foxy said, also install the newest drivers
Yea I have whatever the latest Catalyst drivers are, so I guess I should be good.
