So as I was cleaning my laptop I found out that it have networking chipset on separate PCB, and so I got to wonder, can I change it from 10/1000 to 1Gbps ? Do anyone have any info on same kind of PCB in newer dell laptops ?
I have the same laptop and I've searched for this as well, I don't think these exist in the 1gbps variant. Dell stopped selling this laptop years ago too. Your best bet would be to buy a usb 3.0 to gigabit ethernet adapter.
