Hello friends,
I’m looking to upgrade my GPU setup for Redshift C4D design work. I currently have 2x 2070 Supers in my 4 slot pcie 4.0 (16, 8, 16, 8) motherboard with the Threadripper 3960x CPU. Redshift scales linearly the more GPUs you throw at it.
My question is, is it better to add 2 more 2070 supers to the mix or 1 4070. Both scenarios cost about the same. If the stability is the same since they all seem to use the same RTX drivers id rather go with the 4070 so that i dont have to risk buying used 2070s that may have been used for mining or are on their last legs.
