Upgrading an Office PC

Hi,

So technically it's not a build a PC, but I am intending to upgrade an office PC I acquired to be able to play games. It's a Dell Inspiron 560 with the large case.

The current specs are:

  • Intel Pentium E5700 CPU @ 3.00 Ghz (dual core)
  • 2GB DDR3 RAM @ 398Mhz
  • Dell 018D1Y Motherboard
  • Intel G45/G43 Integrated Graphics
  • 500GB SATA Hard Drive
  • The audio device is a "High Definition Audio Device"

I would like to play the following games at (preferably) 60fps and anywhere above 720p resolution:

  • GTA IV
  • Far Cry 3
  • Saints Row the Third
  • Left 4 Dead 2 (and other Valve Source engine games)

I'm assuming my 2D game under development would run fine: I need to be able to run Java in 64bit and IntelliJ Idea.

GTX 750 ti.  Get one preferably without the need for a power connector and enjoy a simple plug-and-play(plus driver installation) upgrade.

RAM upgrade immediately! 4 gigs is the BAREBONE MINIMUM, I would recommend getting 8. What is your PSU's wattage? The 750 Ti is low power, but if the psu is 250 watts... Also, I'm generally warry of OEM PSUs.
