Hello there since Tuesday this week I have a new graphics card and since then I get noticeable stutter from time to time I get good fps in most games 70-120 fps in BF1 it ranges from 70-110 fps there is where I see and get the most hickups in fps / drops in bf3 I get 90-135 fps and there I get worse drops than in bf1 in far cry 5 or gta 5 i’m playing at 1440 p @ 144 hz with g-sync. I hadn’t seen this with my old gpu I did a fresh windows install yesterday day too issue is still there. I read online after some windows update there is.
" Standby memory issues causing stutters on creators update "
My pc config is this
(screenshot taken before the Windows fresh install )
Tried a driver from September guess gotta go back in time and pick one from 2017 on my hdd ;p
The bios isn’t the newest version on my Mainboard there is a new version from this month that would be a option too but first gonna try that old driver
set everything to standard in bios for ram no doc profile now it’s running smoothly again but why isn’t it like before with my 980 ti running smoothly with the docp ram settings for my gskill trident z amd ram ;( should I try the bios update? maybe new gpu is stressing the system more
Use Guru 3D DDU to uninstall your drivers in safe mode. Do it for AMD too if you’ve ever had an AMD GPU in the system then reinstall. Next I would look to see CPU usage in the games you have problems with. Say for instance the game is only optimized for like 2 cores those cores could be spiking to 100% trying to keep up with your new more powerful graphics card.
thanks for your help Driver is the first one I installed I updated my mainboard bios now trying to play Battlefield 3 with docp standard 3200 mhz ram settings no stutter anymore in bf3 after the bios update and cores are getting more utilized gonna try other games now too
