Updating old to new 600$ max?

I've considered reporting him but then I don't, because I'm laughing too hard.

I'll reply to everyone in this one comment, 1st of though, thanks for the help again(IDK what OP means but I guess that means me/noob :D).

The New Guy / DrunkenPanda : Doesn't W8.1 show some increase with performance though? Or is it not enough to justify getting windows 8.1 over windows 7(Which is more user friendly(W7) IMO). Anyhow...

The New Guy : I like it, But maybe I could Switch to ADATA sticks that would bring me below 600. + You are keeping the Full tower(Which I see better for bigger upgrades I.E. all in one water cooling?)

DrunkenPanda : With the only i5 build but, It's one that I'm really thinking about.( http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2RzU2 ) Only issue(Probably my fault though) Saying that I'll buy an OS also. That's ok though. bumping it slightly over 600$ is no huge deal.

fatninjamke : Will be going 8350 if I do go with AMD, But great motherboard looks like + anon agreeing on that.

anon : Something like this? -> http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2RToa .. Which is probably AMD build I'll stick with, unless I go with Panda's i5 build..

rabidz7 : Let me just slap a GTX Titan on there and make the best bottleneck ever.

Some Tech Noob : Thanks for heads up on the ADATA ram. + the NXZT full tower is cheaper than a mid tower?(I like the dust covers on the Fractal Design(+ almost everyone is saying it). So it's probably what I'll go with.

Davaross : Like the i7 build but it comes out to around 737$. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2RTwL While adding on the case and OS. Besides that, isn't the performance from i5-4670k close to the i7-3770k?

m33b : Thanks for kicking this off into a all AMD build(which I knew it would be dew to it being 600$ cap ^_^.) Also awesome keeping it all under 500$(without OS, But I forgot to say that part). Worth it going from 8320 -> 8350?(+ I never over clocked before o.o...)

Overall, did lots of thinking and combining different builds. Came up with these 2 different ones with price coming close(little over/under) to 600$, which is ok. Now, age old question. AMD vs Intel!

i5-4670k Build - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2ROIt  652$

AMD 8350 Build - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2RToa 645$

AMD 8350 Build#2 - http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2RUCd 587$(MB swap)AKA worth it to go extra to the 645$?

OP simply means Original post (or the main post) or original poster depending on the context really.

The difference between the FX8320 and the Fx8350 isn't much. it's mostly out of the box clock speed as they are the same architecture. However the FX series is really easy to Overclock and it might be fun learning how to. the forum is here to help if you want to OC either part.

the 8320 is slower out of the box but significantly cheaper.

+1 i would personaly go for a FX8320 with Asus M5A99Fx pro R2.0, best bang for buck. The money you saving, you can keep appart for an nice GPU upgrade later on.

I also want to mention that the new Asrock 990Fx fatal1ty killer, is arround the same price level as the Asus M5A99FX pro R2.0, but the Asrock fatal1ty has some realy nice feutures to offer. 8+2 powerphase digi vrms gold plated solid caps, 10GB/s m-sata port, killer E2200 lan chip. Realtek 1150 audio codec with a headphone AMP for headphones upto 600 ohms.. if audio is important to you, you may have a look at the Asrock 990FX fatal1ty killer.

Im personaly realy impressed about the lookings and the feutures that Asrock offers on this board for the price.
