that CPU is .1Ghz faster so it would see slightly better results

This looks really good. I think I'm going to be building one just like/very similar to this in a month or two.

I'm hoping though to maybe get an i5 processor. Do you think that is a good idea Gigabuster? What kind of effects will that have?

Think I'm gonna try to make a game of "inb4 giga wants to redo your entire build" ;) Also glad you adopted the use of bullet points for your link lists giga, much cleaner.

Arcen, you made some minor improvements, but most of my recommendations from last post still stand, you want to spend more on the GPU and trim from other areas, you don't need to drop $100 on a mobo for this system. The difference between PhenII and i3 will be unnoticable in games with the GPUs in your price range, so if your feeling the PhenII then go for it.

that is true but with 1155, if he ever wants a better CPU he can buy one, with am3 he's kinda already at the best it can offer, also the 55w tdp is nice since its like half of the phenom

well I really don't believe in a build, even if you change just one thing out of it, will fit multiple people, my builds are based on per person, how much money they can spend, what they want to do with it, and current deals, whenever you're ready to order your build, let us know your budget and what you want to use it for and I'll make a build custom to fit your needs/means

How big is the difference? because i heard AMD phenom x4 can render better than the i3 and i need a bit of desktop performance also.

Well, the board he is currently looking at is an AM3+, so it will support the new piledriver chips as well, not that I expect their single core performance to suddenly spike enough to enter the realm of gaming superiority over Intel with the new piledriver chips.

And yes, power, the woes of those who's hydro isn't included with their rent. But that is a valid point, though, in the realm outside of gaming, in the land of heavily threaded applications, the PhenII's multicore performance still easily trumps that of Intel's dual core solutions.

everyone happy now, will you really need a ODD, when was the last time you burnt a CD

If a motherboard doesn't have usb 3.0 can a Case that has front usb 3.0 work with the motherboard? or does it work with it but uses 2.0?

nope

I don't know how to Pick MY GPU, can you pick something on the $ 150- $160 price range?

Actually would you recommend this GPU over the HIS ICEQ that was in the $700 Build?

no the IceQ 7870 is much better
