What do you think will happen if the USA government were to buy Apple Inc? Allow yourself to go wild.
AND do you think that Apple will get to the point where it can buy the US?
I'm not sure what they would gain. They already do all the surveillance they want.
On the other hand, Apple probably has enough CASH to buy the government. :)

People would be pissed, but on a similar note, it would never happen, cause it's been proven already that Apple as a Company has much more money than the US Government.
I would leave the US for the rest of my life, and never return.

Wrong way, bud. Apple could probably buy the USA if anything.
Apple, a company that stores it's money in Bermuda, gets it's resources from the third world and makes almost everything in China.
"Designed in California" is a carefully chosen phrase used on their packaging. Considering their lead designer isn't even American and it certainly isn't made in California.
So, what motives can you think of that drives the US Government to buy Apple?
A government actually buying out a cooperation instead of the other way around? Sorry i cannot suspend my disbelief long enough...:P
i don't think a company could just go out and buy a government straight up like that...they buy governments through congress though ;)
