Thanks. Kreator is a great band. Not a huge fan though unfortunately - for whatever reason I am really nitpicky about vocals and Petrozza's just dont agree with me. I do enjoy some of their earlier stuff though. I think I saw some Sodom linked already, but yes they are great too. I'm not really versed in Tankard, but I have heard some of their stuff.
I hear ya on the vocals, Dave Mustaines vocals are so excruciating for me I will not listen to Megadeth (plus the fact he's sorta a dick), I always enjoyed German thrash better than American/Bay Area thrash. Metallica up to and including Justice, Testament I like although don't own any of their albums, Slayer is well......Slayer but now they've even gone downhill and suck live which was always their trumpcard.
Can't really say much about modern Thrash although I've heard a little bit of Municipal Waste and did enjoy it

Blut aus Nord (can't say what language their lyrics are on since they never seem to actually publish them for any of their albums, but, this is one of the most unique bands in Metal. Their style is like some creepy hallucinogenic atmospheric Black Metal)

Hey I think everyone should check out Save Us From The Archon. Maybe not metal in the usual sense, but it's heavier than rock. I like the way every instrument (yes, even the drums!) has its own riffs and melodies. Feels kind of like CHON, but dirtier.
