So I opened the cardboard box that the arctosa in. I saw it opened already. I was like wtf? so i took out the keyboard and i already saw finger marks, a scratch, and if i look closely enough, seems like they tried to "wipe" off the markings to make it seem "brand new"

Now i just spoked to the bitch i talked to, to process an RMA. she said politely that she will issue one, bla bla bla and free shipping back. that whore better do that.

sucks, i've orderd a bunch of things from newegg already and nothing has come fucked up.. except for my defective ram. i also thought my first q6600 was defective, (it probably wasn't.. but oh well) and that RMA went through slow as fuck, that's been my only problem with them.
its sad to say but new egg has been slipping recently which is very sad they were a great company but if they continue this shit there going to loose business.
It seems to be hit and miss when I order from newegg. Same goes for a lot of people I know that buy from them. Sometimes you get fucked--sometimes everything goes smoothly.

Haha.. Well after my disappointment, i asked my cousin to consult with them.
He talked to me about "lying" to them in order to RMA it and get a new one. He got lucky when he didn't like his router anymore. He talked to a newegg employee and wanted to just return the router. It was 15 bucks. So the guy talking to my cousin just told him he will be refunded and keep the router.
I wanted that to happen to me lol. So he talked to them instead of me. No luck though. I have to ship it back. I'm printing the paper to return it back.
Chea can happen...the worse that happened to me was I got a box that was ice cold and had to leave the X58 on my bed to heat it up after unpackaging. Imagine overclocking with a cold board lol.

Well it is partially neweggs fault. They should have tested and retest if the product works. Also to make sure it is not tampered with during its shipping process.
Also not to ship out a used product if someone buys a untouched RETAIL. i can show you the link to it.

New egg dose not have to test anything they get the products boxed if they were to test the product they would have to take it from the box which would make it open box.
Best buy or circuit city or amazon do not test anything they just simply sell the product that they got from the company.
I do agree that its there fault for sending you an open box that its False advertising they were selling the product as New , retail not open box
