Unable to instal new driver past 337.88 without bsod

Everytime i try to install a new driver my system crashes to a blue screen and at every startup i get the same error. I use recovery to get the pc working again. I tried other's dating from 337.88 ain't helping and i tried driver sweeper.

I'm out of ideas the only thing remaining is reinstaling windows :(

Post on the Nvidia forums:   https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/776479/geforce-drivers/unable-to-instal-any-driver-past-337-88/

As i recall, windows 8 shipped with faulty Nvidia drivers at some point when it came out. You had to boot in safe mode remove the old crap manually and install beta version back in the day.

So i expect the 337.88 has a corrupted part in it, or something older, remnants of an older driver, (some loose DLL files in the wrong place) are causing problems. I would try safe mode, do a clean install to beta drivers and see if anything changes.

Just a thought, do a check on your HDD for Bad sectors.

I tried resinstaling the system and puting the newer driver first but it still crashed. And no bad sectors on the hdd. Now i am waiting for the next drivers if they can't be instaled then im screwed.

Its strange, because if the older drivers work, then perhaps the new ones added something, that collides with existing software, there might be something in the windows logs. Check even viewer and see what errors/warnings were caused before BSOD.

SO i checked the logs see whats added after 337.88

If you want to check the pdf yourself, its at http://us.download.nvidia.com/Windows/340.43/340.43-win8-win7-winvista-desktop-release-notes.pdf

Nothing major there...

Download the latest drivers. Boot windows into safe mode. Uninstall the Nvidia drivers. Install new drivers. It should work.

If that does not work, then you should try uninstalling the drivers with the command console in safe mode.

I will wait for the next drivers (playing BF3 and BF4 only at the moment and the new drivers dont bring improvement's for those games) and if that doesn't help then i will try with safe boot to unisntall the drivers and install the new ones in safe mode. But i doubt that will work. I will post here in a month or so when newer drivers are out.

Ok new drivers are out 344.11. Same problem.   Tried using Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode. Unistaled all drivers, restarted the pc and tried the new drivers and same problem again. I don't have anything left on my mind please anyone what should i do? It bugs me i realy tried everything??? Even tried placing the cards in difrent order and using difrent pci slot's with only one card and same problem as before??

so you booted into safe mode, went to device manager and found your graphics card, then uninstalled the drivers there? And then deleted all Nvidia files? Then rebooted and downloaded fresh drivers and installed them? Just need to be clear.

Yes that to. And i even tried reinstaling windows three times again clean and tried the new drivers with a clean system and again same error. And i am again using 337.88 everything older with win 8.1 suport is working only drivers after 337.88 are givig me the Bsod http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=25itb47&s=8#.VB167vmSzTQ  .
