After updating to the newest Nvidia driver this is now on and greyed out. How do I ungrey it and turn it off?

can you do it the other way?
Go to the settings for the notification area, and control it that way?

tried that, its greyed out as well

got it fixed, ran ddu, then fresh install with nvidia advanced driver search. nvidia is releasing two driver versions one it labeled as ‘international-dch-whql’ driver the other is 'international-whql ’ The driver with the ‘dch’ in the download name requires you to also download the nvidia control panel from the windows10 store to make any display changes.
