Unable to boot into Linux on Ryzen System

Well, I’ll test this one, but if it doesn’t work I won’t install any pre 1725 CPU. That being said, according to the sheet above UA1730SUS as well as some 1725 chips have also issues.

@patricia2626: Virtualisation, for instance…or compiling… This list goes on, why are you asking?

i got a ryzen 1800x i dont see many people buying ryzen for linux

So? What is your question?

I think she suggests that Linux programs (?) don’t use as many cores as Windows programs?

Yeah, maybe. But you don’t know and me neither. That’s why I asked.

uhhh

I disagree. The linux market share is small, but one of the compelling reasons for buying a Ryzen 7 is for the multitasking and VM potential, which are Linux strong points.

Try installing a version of windows pre creators editons or what ever it is called.

This is a kernel problem and you will need to install either win10 creators edition+ or from my experiences ubuntu 16.04 LTS + which still gives errors during the installation, but works, window$ albeit did not pre creators edition.
