So, OK, I know this might be dumb. But my girlfriend is kinda freaking out because she unwantingly uninstaled her microphone (she can't recall what she did exactly and I already guided her through the usual: device manager and sound options and indeed in the recording tab, nothing) I kinda need some ideas to help her out because she's a little tech impaired... So, yeah, please any ideas help.

or if it got disabled, right click speaker icon in tray, recording devices, right click and select show disabled, right click microphone, enable
i doubt it's any more than that
