Any and all suggestions welcome, I'm planning on building a pc for around £1500, £2000 all in all when I include monitor keyboard and such.
Primarily the pc will be used for gaming (for myself) along with video editing (premier pro, after affects) and photo editing (for the better half).
As things stand the route I intend on going down is as follows...
i7 4770k
Msi z87 gd65
noctua nh d14
gtx 780ti
corsair rm850 (with scope to add second 780ti)
Ssd 240gb ( probably whatever's on offer at the time)
hdd 2tb wd black
16 (2x8) Kingston beast ddr3
generic Bluray writer
all inside a fractal design define r4
windows 8.1 64bit
corsair vengeance k70
mouse - undecided
xstar 1440p monitor
any recommendations and suggestions welcomed
Why don't you post what you had in mind and see what comments you get on it?
updated, any feedback or advice?
Looks good to me. That's a nice high end system you'll get there!
Appreciate the feedback, anything you would personally change or recommend before i take the plunge and order up sometime between now and the start of next year? Also would you have any thought on a monitor? i was quite set on the 1440p xstar, and im aware of 1080p gaming monitors with higher refresh rates along with pro art monitors which would be beneficial for the pc's secondary use which is leaving me doubting my initial decision. Its trying to get best balance for all uses while not spending excess amounts.
thanks again
I can suggest a good mouse, i personally love the Razer Naga, you'd be surprised at all the uses of the buttons! Also a nice simple mouse is the Razer Death Adder.
