I have some extra time on my hands so I decided to learn some useful stuff.
But I'm fresh out of ideas, I am trying to learn python and how to operate in command line on linux.
Any other ideas of thing I can pick up? I was thinking of sering up a small soldering bench and tweaking some of the broken electronics I have. Like fixing up old headphones to have as a back up or something.
What else can I pick up?

what do you use on a daily basis?, Car, Bicycle, PC, learn to properly service and maintain these things

Good point. There was a saying that is relevant; it is always easer to maintain something than repair it.
Now that i think about it would be good if I figured out spokes in by bicycle cause back wheel is bit wobbly. lolĀ
Learn Linux, it has taken over severs and mobile. Play with virtual machines such as Xen and KVM.
Get a multi-meter and teach your self about electronics and automation.
Any of those have real world money making potential.
Get out of the house and learn some bushcraft/outdoor skills, it can save your life.
Learn to sew, cook and car repair it will save you money.
Work on writing skills or learn a musical instrument, more culture never hurts.
Learn anotherĀ language, so you can order food abroad without pointing to pictures like a child.

Lessershoe has it right, learn Fedora/Red Hat, get a strong skill set with a scripting language like Bash. Tons of fun and useful stuff on a resume.Ā
