So I was told UEFI support up to 1080p as maximum resolution, but BIOS does not and supports lower numbers. Does anyone know the maximum resolution BIOS supports?

All this means is that the menu’s will scale to that. So for my PC, a hacked up Lenovo TS140, running it BIOS only the display OF THE BIOS MENU is 640X480. In UEFI MENU MODE the menu is native.
That clear that up? Has nothing to do with hardware constraints if thats your question.
