UDK or CryEngine for a beginner

Hello again, another very nooby question....

Which will be the best game engine for me to start out on, Unreal Engine or CryEngine? Personally I prefer the look of tech demos for CryEngine 3 as all pre-made textures, models, particle effects... and scenes in general made look better in my opinion.

My intensions with a game engine is to import models and textures I have made and create little scenes which I can walk around in and show off to people. As you can probably tell I'm new to all this sort of stuff but I have really enjoyed creating models in Blender and I would just like to make something like a street to get started in computer aided design work stuff.

Oh also I have already downloaded and played with UDK and I have found learning controls and tools really difficult, another reason why I am now asking.

I have both but I mainly use UDK but I'm waiting for unreal engine 4
