Udev in Sabayon? How to watch DRM content?

Okay so I want to watch content from stuff like Iplayer and 4OD, but I cant on linux due to DRM, when I attempt to load the video the loading icon just spins, I had a look and have seen HAL is no longer supported but udev is and is better, how do I get it onto my system?

I tried emerge and didnt work also equo still nothing..

Pirate it.

The lack of DRM doesn't block content, you probably just haven't installed all necessary codecs or something. Install the gstreamer0 and gstreamer1 tainted codec metapackages and it should work.

Udev should be on your system already. It runs in userspace though, not in kernel space, so check your perms.
