I installed Gnome Ubuntu and when I try to install extension (going to extension.gnome.org from the tweak tool) i get the error "We cannot detect a running copy of GNOME [...]"
I tried to go on their troubleshooting page but i wasn't able to solve my problem.
Any idea what my problem is and how I can solve it?

Couple things,
1: you have to be running firefox to install extensions. IDK of any other browser that will allow you to install extensions.
2: when you go to the web page with firefox, there will be a little popup tab in the top right hand corner of your screen. It will ask you about permissions or something like that. You just gotta click ok and then refresh the page. It SHOULD work then.
Sometimes I have to close firefox and then log back in.

The old, good close and repoen worked, i don't know why it wasn't working before!

Let me rephrase that then.
I do not know of any good browsers that can work with gnome extensions. : P
JK, thanks for the heads up. I really wish gnome tweak would add support for chromium. I really only like to have 1 browser installed.
