The first official release of Ubuntu Budgie will be 17.04.
I think thats great news.
Budgie is a very usefull fork of Gnome3 for traditional desktop use.
it needs some improvements still.
But i think that it will get there.
I´m definitely interested in that distro wenn it becomes official.
The more the merrier. But I don't like Budgie very much. It's still a relatively new DE though. Let's see what happens with it in the future.
I've been using budgie with solus on my non work laptop for the past 6months or so and have to say it's pretty damn nice. It's like a more modern feeling cinnamon if you ask me. I can even let my partner use it and they don't get confused at all.
