ok so i have the asus sabertooth r.2.0 and some random case that has 1 usb3 front panel header on it and 2 usb 2 front panel headers but only 1 usb 2 sockets on the mobo is being used but both sockets work .
how many front panel headers can you get from 1 usb 2 output on the mobo ?
and how many can you get from usb 3 ?
1 header is 2 ports...
but i´m allmost sure that you have got more usb 2.0 headers on the board. ive got a Asus M5A97 evo R2.0 and this board has 3 usb 2.0 headers. So it would be strange that a more expensive sabertooth have only one.. wenn i look at the pictures i allready see 2 usb 2.0 headers creamy white colored.
Well, It has about 4 USB3s and so much more usb2s that I lost count on the back if I'm not mistaken.
oh ye there it is,

That green thing next to the RAM slots is a 2 usb3.0 front header. I dont use it thats why I had to search it.
Thats about 6 usb3's in total.
yes that green ports underneath the ram is a usb 3/0 header for 2 ports. and 4 on the back make it 6.
there are 8 usb 2.0 ports on the back, and 2 headers on the board, that make it 12.
grtz Angel ☺
So basicly way too much USB ports, check.
